US$ 700 - 900 APOLLO 16 LUNAR SURFACE VIEWS OF SOUTH RAY CRATER A DRAMATIC SERIES OF 500MM TELEPHOTO HASSELBLAD PHOTOGRAPHS Three large black and white photographs, each 11 x 14 inches. These combined overlapping photographs create an image approximately 11 x 30 inches. The mosaic is comprised of Apollo 16 lunar surface images AS16-112-18246, 18247, and 18256. Astronaut Charles Duke recorded these panoramic views of South Ray Crater while at Station Stop 4 during Apollo 16's second lunar surface exploration known as EVA 2. This exploration site provided a higher elevation viewing angle, being up the base of Stone Mountain. South Ray Crater is some 2½ miles away.
US$ 700 - 900 APOLLO 16 LUNAR SURFACE VIEW OF NORTH RAY CRATER "MAN, DOES THIS THING HAVE STEEP WALLS!" – ASTRONAUT JOHN YOUNG. Large black and white photograph, 11 x 14 inches. Details from Hasselblad frame A16-116-18599 taken at Station Stop 11, next to North Ray Crater. This crater was so deep and the walls so steep that neither Young or Duke could see the bottom. Young made an additional comment: "Now, I tell you, I can't see the bottom of it, and I'm just as close to the edge as I'm going to get! (laughing) That's the truth!"
US$ 800 - 1,200 APOLLO 16 LUNAR SURFACE VIEW—THE RAYS OF NORTH RAY "THE BOULDERS ARE SPLAYED OUT FROM THE CENTER IN RAYS..." – ASTRONAUT CHARLES DUKE Large black and white photograph, 11 x 14 inches. Details from Hasselblad frame A16-106-17239 taken at Station Stop 11, next to North Ray Crater, with a different sun angle. The bright rays of this crater are clearly evident against the surrounding darker surface. Shadowing of numerous boulders allows easier determination of their relative sizes.
EVA Cuff Checklist Apollo 16 John Young wore this small notebook around his wrist during the second and third lunar EVAs of Apollo 16. The booklet fit into an attachment band fastened with a Velcro closure. The spiral binding made it easy to turn the pages while wearing bulky gloves and kept the pages in place.

This Panorama from left to right shows Flag and Plum Craters, then rather bizarely we see Charlie Duke twice! This was because he was moving as John Young was capturing the panorama. Then to the right we see Stone Mountain in the background and South Ray Crater beyond to the far right.
