Launched in 1977, a pair of robotic spacecraft explored the Outer Solar System on the greatest voyage of discovery in human history. For decades they have taught us about our place in the universe, and for untold millenia they will serve as the foremost emissaries of human culture. Each carries a golden record of Earthly images, sounds, and songs as a greeting to the cosmos. This film combines animation with raw mission data to illustrate that journey from the perspective of these ambassadors.
